Port Elizabeth, 5 February 2016 – THE Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) Business School this week welcomed its first class from KwaZulu-Natal to its PE campus in Summerstrand. The students are all signed up for the MBA and PDBA study orientation week, following the school’s launch and opening of the new Durban satellite office last year.

February 2016 - In February, the Business School relaunched its Alumni Chapter, by hosting a breakfast event for numerous alumni and stakeholders. The event showcased how proud we are of our alumni, and also what we have planned for the year to come. Attendees were further offered the opportunity to meet Prof Thomas Eckardt from the Technical University Nuremberg Georg-Simon-Ohm. An expert in the field of Management and Information Systems, he discussed the transformation into digital business with the attendees.

March 2016 - The NMMU Business School is honoured to welcome Prof Hans Siggaard Jensen. Prof Jensen will be spending the week with Prof Kobus Jonker, Graduate School Director, and Prof Cecil Arnolds, Research Director of the School.

Port Elizabeth, 10 November 2015 – A new Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) Business School study of sustainability reports suggests that SA companies may be ignoring international guidelines for sustainability reporting.

Modern business – characterised by intensified competition and growing globalisation – requires people who can prepare and analyse financial and non-financial information in order to make sound day-to-day and long-term management/ business decisions against the background of a complex and fast-changing business environment.
